Company Secretarial FAQs

Common questions about CIPC filings, MOIs, Beneficial Ownership and annual resolutions in South Africa.

Beneficial Ownership identifies the natural persons who ultimately own or control a company. Since 2023, the General Laws (Anti-Money Laundering and Combating Terrorism Financing) Amendment Act requires every company registered with CIPC to file and keep its Beneficial Ownership information up to date — usually within 10 business days of any change, and again together with the Annual Return. We prepare the disclosure, supporting affidavits and CIPC submission for you.
